South East Bus Festival 2025 Kent Showground, Maidstone

Kent Showground hosted the 2025 South East Bus Festival as I made my first visit. Around 125 buses and coaches attended with a variety representing the evolution of buses through the last century up to today. Many different types mostly from London and the South East were represented along with a few from further afield. Plenty of variety with AEC, Leyland, Alexander Dennis, and Volvo buses on display and some offering trips around the showground.
There was also the Heritage Transport Show taking place, guest speakers and sales stores. If you had a head for heights you could ride on a B206 helicopter for a panoramic view of the show.

Thank you to the organisers for their hard work in putting on this most enjoyable day. Also thanks to 1st Bus Stop for their X25 service which enabled me to get to the event from Ebbsfleet.
With lovely sunshine and so much going on it looked liked a bumper attendance.
