In this video I went along on a cruise up the Tweed River in New South Wales aboard my friend's Handy Billy 21 aptly name MV Billy. It was about 10NM each way and we stopped at little towns along the way for refreshments.
The Tweed River is just one of a number major rivers that make up the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Unfortunately in the past 3 years there have been a number of floods and there is still evidence of flood damaged houses along the river.
If you visit this part of Australia, a trip on the river is well worth the effort.
