This was my first trip into the Glyderau of Snowdonia. What a place it is. My destination for the evening was Llyn Clyd, a small tarn nestled high in the mountains. I enjoyed a bivvy camp by its shore and after doing battle with the midges, enjoyed a night under the stars.
I woke at around 3.45 am and ascending Y Garn for sunrise. Conditions were stunning and it was well worth the early get up. After this, I enjoyed a swim in a nearby lake before completing an incredible ridge walk along the Glyders. What a trip!
