Brandy/Looking Glass bass play along by Cara
Ok this is one probably classified as an "oldie", released in '72 and which doesn't even have the cachet of classics like a monster band like Led Zep, or prog rock like Yes or ELP, or a hits band Boston, it's just an old single that was a hit for a bit by a band that only had one other minor hit in '74 "Jimmy Love Mary Anne", and now is on the oldies station and forgotten.
But we were listening to our 30k+ mp3 collection on shuffle and this comes up and immediately I'm like "This is a great bass line!" what a smooth groove in the verse especially and so I had to learn it. It's tougher than it sounds at first but I finally got it after a couple days. Hope you like it! The verse just kind of swings so beautifully and I love the extra lick at the end of the verse, plus what a strong bridge!!

Elliot Lurie — lead vocals, guitar (1969—1974, 2003—present)
