Chuzhao Retro Twin-Lens Reflex camera review.

Anyone that knows me or has seen some of my other reviews will know that I love my technology and gadgets but, in MOST cases, I tend to buy stuff that serves a purpose or a specific need BUT, every now and then, something catches my eye that, in all honesty, is something I know is not going to be 'useful' or improve my life in anyway and this was the case when it came to the little 'retro camera'!

One of my long-standing hobbies is photography so I keep a close eye on any relevant tech and so it was that I came across this tiny block of cuteness, the Chuzhao TLC (Twin Lens Reflex) camera that instantly catapulted me back to my childhood years spending time with my Grandad on holidays and out fishing where he always had his little Box Brownie camera (which he gifted to me just before he passed away).

Since that fateful day I have immersed myself in all things 'photographic' (even doing my own developing and printing in my teens) and have owned and used many different 'derivatives' of the old Box Browning so it was inevitable that I would end up buying this little reminder of things gone by (although I never actually owned a twin lens reflex camera (they were prohibitively expensive!).

So... is it any good? Photo/Video-graphically speaking, I'd have to say NO! Esthetically though... it's as cute as hell (well, for a camera at least) and is sure to turn a few heads (especially when you turn the little wheel on the side to start videoing something!) and, for the price, this modern bit of nostalgia just hits my 'G(adget')-spot!
