In this tutorial you will learn how to make a simple beanie hat.
No water, no long intros, straight to the point.
I will provide you with a chart that will help you to make a hat using your head size!
You can use any yarn weight and material, any hook size.
My materials:
white cotton yarn (14 WPI)
crochet hook (3.5 mm)
measuring tape
darning needle
Terminology:
MR - magic ring
ch - chain
st - stitch
hdc - half double crochet
inc - increase
ss - slip stitch
The pattern I used:
Make a mr with ch 2.
Round 1: 10 hdc.
Round 2: 1 hdc inc. St count: 20
Round 3: 1 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 30
Round 4: 2 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 40
Round 5: 3 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 50
Round 6: 4 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 60
Round 7: 5 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 70
Round 8: 6 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 80
Round 9: 7 hdc 1 inc, repeat. St count: 90
Round 10 - 31: 1 hdc in every st. St count: 90 for each one
