What happens when you take apart a VHS cassette and deliberately crumple up the tape

Did this for experimental purposes. I went too crazy with the crumpling that I almost damaged the next segment after this one (which was a broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2017-2018). Always make sure you know what you're doing, folks.
