Sub-National Primary Health Care Policy Dialogue | Kaduna State

Primary health care in Nigeria faces serious challenges, from limited funding to workforce gaps and weak systems. To address these challenges, Nigeria Health Watch hosted a Sub-National Policy Dialogue in Kaduna on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Themed “Advancing Sustainable Financing and Workforce Capacity for Equitable Primary Health Care Delivery and Improved Health Outcomes,” the event brought key stakeholders together to discuss strategies to strengthen PHC across the state. Discussions focused on mobilising sustainable funding, strengthening the health workforce, and building resilient systems that leave no community behind.
