This video explains justification for the statement Capacitive reactance is infinite for DC and Inductive reactance is Zero for DC. Capacitive reactance is inversely proportional and Inductive reactance is directly proportional to frequency. For DC, time period is infinite and so frequency is ZERO. So for DC, Capacitive reactance and Inductive reactance are infinite and zero respectively.
