Live performance on Maschine Plus standalone (Native Instruments): My first jam!

My first steps on the Maschine + (by Native Instruments). I do not use any external synths, instruments nor FX. There is no post-treatment (I set up level and frequency mixing and all FX in the Maschine plus. Just the MachinePlus.

I purchased one just a few weeks ago with no knowledge whatsoever of the Maschine environment. The little story is that I have back-pains that prevent me sitting for long periods of time (so no serious studio work for now…). I had to find a way to continue producing standing up, and wanted to do so without a computer. I went for Maschine because I owned Komplete 14 that comes with many expansions (I actually never used the latter!).

It was a good move: Maschine+ is sooo cool to perform live !

Now, I start understanding the power under the hood but also the limitations. Yet, despite these, it’s an amazing machine and I am going to explore it inside and out. I always produced at a desk with a screen and a MIDI keyboard… now I am going to turn some knobs and live again!!! It’s so much fun! I even ordered some external stuff to build a rig around it. It’s gonna be sooo good!
