The shotgun “dead snap” Technique is great especially for younger players. It significantly increases the probability of a successful exchange. The snap comes back to the QB slower and as a slight knuckle ball making it easier for QBs to catch. The center doesn’t have to learn to put a spiral on the ball. Also, the center is less likely to rocket the ball too higher or to the right or left. This is critical in flag football because the ball is dead when it hits the ground.
