This is an old Marksman bb gun that the paint is comming off of. We sanded it down, degreesed it, and painted it black. It doesn't change the gun in any other way. Just makes it look a bit better. This gun is forty-plus years old, and it still works pretty well. The face lift is well deserved. For a bb gun to be that old and still work is pretty darned cool. I had one just like it when I was a kid. It was my first bb gun. I learned to aim and hit what I was shooting at. My dad taught me basic gun safety on it and how to care for it. It was the start of a very long relationship with guns that eventually led to becoming a law enforcement officer.
