I received a lovely vintage Bernina 530-2 Record recently and although it came with a carry case, it was very badly damaged and all the seams had burst! Rather than find another one, and because I love to fix things, this was a project just up my street.
Using a stitching awl, I have started to make repairs to the carry case so that it can once again be useable.
