I drew the design on paper then used little magnets to hold it in place while I painted over it with spray paint. Then I cut out the shape with a angle grinder. I used a 6in cut off wheel. Then I used the thicker disk to smooth out the edges. After that I used the 4 by 30 belt grinder to further smooth the edges. Then I used the 1 by 30 belt grinder to smooth the face of the axe. Also used the orbital sander to further smooth the face, I got it to 180 grit with the palm sander. I then hand sanded 220 grit to 400 grit to 500 grit.
For the RESIST (the coating before you etch) I used Automotive Pin Striping for the the borders. Then I used the Cricut Joy machine to cut out the viking warriors stickers.
I used a 12v battery charger set to 12v 2amp and a 1/2 Cup of salt to 1/2 gal water. I let etch for about 1 hour.
I used Jax blackener and sanded up to 3k grit before polishing.''
