This boost cable is PD compatible, but with my 100W PD charger, it works at 65W, and with a PD connection to an 18W mobile battery, it works as normal USB 5v output.
If you have a mobile battery that supports 100W PD (still expensive), you may be able to boost the voltage to 12V and charge the SuperCap2 in about 3 minutes.


Note:
When you are unable to startup your engine due to dead battery, never charge SuperCap2 from your drained car battery!
That will be further damage to the dying car battery.
Although it takes 36min to charge, I recommend use your mobile battery or smartphone to charge SuperCap2.
If your mobile battery is compatible with PowerDelivery 65W or higher,
You can use the converter below for faster charging your SuperCap2 in about 3 minutes without a long wait.

Also, on hybrid vehicle systems such as Prius, they cannot charge SuperCap2 because they cannot output power from the jump starting terminal.
When you do really want to charge the SuperCap2 with hybrid vehicle, you can connect SuperCap2's clamps directly to the battery terminals, but it's not recommended way!





Here's a summary of the pros and cons of each jump start
Advantages of jumper cable
Low initial cost
No deterioration in long-term storage
Can be started even when battery drained

Disadvantages of jumper cable
Requires rescue vehicle
Need space to park two cars
Fairly bulky
Need to wait for the battery to be charged to start a larger displacement vehicle


Advantages of the lithium-ion type
No rescue vehicle needed
Initial cost is relatively low.
If high power, it may be possible to start even if the battery is empty
Can hold charge for long term (dangerous)

Disadvantages of the lithium-ion type
Very dangerous to store in a car due to explosion risk
Short life span due to natural deterioration
Takes a long time to charge
Cannot be used at extremely low temperatures


Advantages of capacitor type
No rescue vehicle needed
Can be stored in the car as there is no risk of explosion or ignition
Quick to full charge
Suitable for long term storage, life is about 10 times longer than lithium-ion
Capable of starting even large displacement vehicles
Can be used in extremely low and high temperatures
Quickly recharges mobile batteries, smartphones, and solar panels
Can be started even when battery drained

Disadvantages of capacitor type

Cannot hold charge for long term (safe)
A bit bulky
