Switching an already-protected VM to crash-only
Verifying snapshot type & multi-disk consistency
Use crash-consistent: stateless apps, Linux/no VSS, flaky app-consistent jobs
Avoid it: databases, Exchange/AD, transactional systems—use app-consistent instead
