In this video we show you how to bleed the brakes on a 2002 Toyota 4runner. This would also be the same procedure if you replaced brake components and wanted to bleed the system of any trapped air. The procedure to bleed brakes on this vehicle is very similar to almost any other vehicle.

If your vehicle also has a load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV), you would follow the same procedure but bleed the proportioning valve last. If you're unsure if you have a LSPV, it would be located above rear axle on the driver side.

**Note: A subscriber (Bardia Gharjari) did bring up a valid concern that I didn't have my drain tubing immersed in brake fluid while bleeding the rear wheel cylinders and front calipers to prevent air from coming back in while bleeding. I checked and the FSM does say to do this step. Is it necessary? I'm saying no and I explain why in my response to Bardia's comment if you want to read more. But please, do whatever you think is right for you.
