I've seen many posts and videos but they all lack something like being forced to use a 2 star recruit. Here I will explain how it works and how to redshirt a 5 star recruit in College Football 25 Road to Glory.
**UPDATE**
I cannot get a 5 star recruit to work with WR under Alabama and probably other teams due to the game placing my player on the kick off team. There has to be at minimum 1 kick off which means 1 down will be played.
However I was able to get a 4 star (Bluechip) recruit to work right away as WR6 for Alabama.
