Friends, my today's topic is very interesting and I am sure it will be helpful to most of the fish keepers. The name of the topic as the title suggests is What are the things to be considered before purchasing a new fish and setting it up in your aquarium.

Being a beginner no one knows which is hard fish and which is soft fish. All they know is the color of the fish. At first, while setting up the tank for the first time most of the fish keepers like gold color fish to which we say Gold Fish and when this fish dies then they try for some other fish and came to know the difference between soft fish and hard fish.

Friends, Before purchasing a new fish do consider these points very seriously:
1. Size and aggression of the existing fish you have
2. Compatability of new fish
3. Tank aqua space i.e hiding space, toys, plants, driftwood, and stone to reduce aggression and stress
4. Bio load of aquarium and filtration system
5. Water change cycle to keep them healthy
6. Medicine knowledge to treat if something happens
7. Your water parameters in residence and how cycled the water you have
8. Water Temperature
