24 Hours in Arlington, Virginia: Nightlife & Things to do

For Leap Day this year we decided to getaway, but somewhere close to Maryland. We chose Arlington, Virginia around the Clarendon/Rosselyn area because there is nice downtown area across from the water from DC where you can explore, find good food and fantastic nightlife. Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Island is within walking distance and definitely worth checking out. Nightlife wise, we love Don Tito's because they have a rooftop deck and grabbing dinner beforehand at Galaxy Hut a couple blocks down the street. Next door to Don Tito's is a pizza place called Goody's, a perfect spot for late night munchies. Another great bar is Spider Kelly's on the same block, where you can dance, play billiards or arcades games. Highly recommend staying at the Marriott Bonvoy in Rosselyn, about a 1 mile up the road.
