We took the unit out of the box and completely get it cranking quickly. I was immediately able to set it and use it to boil water and create a quick meal of Pad Thai from Backcountry Pantry.
The Jetboil Flash 1.0L came out today and we jumped at the chance to own one. This is my second Jetboil and our first one has lasted well over 15 years. It still works but needs a match in order to get it started which is not bad for 15 years of service. We show how to effectively use the JETBOIL Flash 1.0L for outdoor cooking. The Flash heats water rapidly boiling a liter in just under 3 minutes. It's efficient and uses very little fuel to get a quick and easy rolling boil. The integrated system simplifies setup and minimizes the things that can go wrong so you can focus on what is important. The built-in measuring cup and pour spout allow you to quickly know exactly how much water you need for your particular meal.
This entire system fits right into your pack and is ready to go on just about any adventure you can have just add water and freeze dried meals.
