difference between poetry and prose

Prose: The concepts are written in sentences, which are then organized into paragraphs. Poetry is composed of lines that are organized into stanzas. Prose: The vocabulary is more grammatical and natural. The language is metaphorical and rhythmical in poetry.Poetry tends to be more expressive than prose withy rhythm, rhyme and comparisons contributing to a different sound and feel. Prose is generally more straightforward, without much decoration. Contained in lines which may or may not be in sentences. Lines are arranged in stanzas.
