Namibia (part 2): Overland to Swakopmund | Dramatic Roads and Valley of 1000 Hills

Join us on a journey through Namibia as we explore its iconic landscapes and hidden gems!

We begin at Sossusvlei and the surreal Deadvlei, marveling at the towering red dunes and ancient dead trees that create one of the most otherworldly sceneries on earth. From there, we venture into the Naukluft Mountains, hiking to discover secluded pools nestled in the heart of this dramatic terrain.

The adventure takes a twist when we change a flat tire on our way to Neuras Wine Farm, one of the driest vineyards in the world, where we indulge in a unique wine-tasting experience. Crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, we journey to the mesmerizing Namib’s Valley of a Thousand Hills, camping on the edge of this awe-inspiring valley.

The next day, we drive along some of the highest roads in Namibia, taking in panoramic views before stopping at the quirky desert outpost of Solitaire to refuel. Finally, we make our way to the coast, ending our adventure in the charming town of Swakopmund, where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean.
