In this video, I describe my experiences with Delphi, Meyle, and Moog branded aftermarket ball joints for the Range Rover L322 (2003-2005 and possible later model years as well). The Land Rover factory part number for the ball joints is RBK500210 and the factory Torx bolts that secure the ball joints in place are M10x20mm and are Land Rover part # RYP000400.
The Delphi part # is TC1951
The Meyle part # is 53-16 010 0002
The MOOG part # is K500146
One quick note, although on this particular hub, the Delphi seat seemed to fit much better, when I previously replaced the factory ball joints in one of my 2004 Range Rover HSE models, the Delphi ball joint would not stay put and could fairly easily be removed again by hand. This shows that there is variation either in the ball joints or play in my hub.
Secondly, the Delphi bolt holes were NOT aligned properly with the threaded holes in the hub and I could not insert the bolts through them. Instead of drilling the bolt holes in the Delphis, I decided to return them under warranty as a manufacturing defect since they should be perfect. I forgot to mention this in the video, but it is very important to know!
