Philip Quaintell is the author of the epic fantasy series' A Time of Dragons, The Echoes Saga, The Ranger Archives, as well as the Terran Cycle sci-fi series. He began writing Rise of the Ranger because he had writers block while writing his science fiction series.
He fell in love with the world and 12 months after he began writing it Rise of the Ranger was released. It became a success and he hasn't looked back.
