The Braata Singers perform Grenada Isle of Spice (From the Off-Broadway Production: Still Standing)

THE BRAATA SINGERS marked their 15th Anniversary with STILL STANDING, a jubilant Off-Broadway celebration of Caribbean music and folklore. The program included a medley of songs by Jamaican reggae legend Jimmy Cliff Medley, the Haitian folk song Yellow Bird, Love Is A Funny Likkle Ting, The Impossible Dream from Broadway’s The Man of La Mancha, the inspirational He Reigns Forever and a Bob Marley medley featuring One Love, among many others.

In addition to honoring their own milestone anniversary, THE BRAATA SINGERS: STILL STANDING also paid homage to the significant independence milestones being celebrated by the islands of Grenada (50 years), St Lucia (45 years), St Vincent (45 years), and Haiti (220 years) in 2024.
