A demonstration of the required Air Brake Check portion of the Cab Compartment/Engine Start section of the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Pre-Trip inspection.
The Air Brake Check portion is a pass/fail evolution. If you cannot successfully demonstrate and accomplish this portion of the Pre-trip inspection, it will result in a failure.
Although tractors/trucks may have a different compartment layout, this detailed training video should help you with understanding the steps and procedures required for passing the Air Brake Check portion of the In-Vehicle/Engine Start section of the Modernized Class A Pre-Trip inspection.
