Attack On Titan: What If Dina Killed Bertolt

In "Attack on Titan," the dynamic between humans and Titans is clear-cut: Titans hunt humans. This is why the incident where the Smiling Titan spared Bertolt was unusual. Typically when this dynamic is disrupted it's because an abnormal titan was involved. However, we’ve seen the Smiling Titan kill humans on multiple occasions yet Bertolt was spared. This was later explained by Eren Yeager's using the Founding Titan to redirect the Smiling Titan towards his mother because Bertolt wasn’t meant to die there, h is intervention allowed Bertolt to later Trost and participate in the Battle for Shiganshina, which ultimately led to Armin becoming a titan-shifter. However, what if Eren hadn't intervened? What if the Smiling Titan killed Bertolt? How would this change impact the story of AOT?
