How To Turn a Single Layer Image Into a Multiple Layer SVG I Cricut I Inkscape

Hello everyone!!!

In this video, I show you how to turn a simple svg into a multiple layer svg using inkscape. You can then cut out your multiple layer svg in Cricut Design Space and apply this to any of your projects including reusable tumblers. What I love most about this method is how inkscape beginner friendly it is. For the purpose of this video, I show you the complete process from designing your svg to layering your design after it is cut.

****Remember in Inkscape hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard when selecting the all pieces that are one color, then go to PATH and select UNION. Use COMMAND + z to undo the last action. Also, disclaimer I am not an Inkscape expert. I’m just simply sharing what works for me and hope it works for you as well.
