Join me on a 2-day crappie fishing adventure at Truman Lake, where I use forward-facing sonar (LiveScope) to locate and catch slab crappie in brush piles and beside standing timber. I’ll walk you through my bait setup using crappie jigs, monkey milk body with chartreuse tails, and Berkley PowerBait Crappie Nibbles to entice the bite.
Despite windy conditions and a full moon, I manage to catch a limit of keeper crappie, all while giving jigging tips, and tactics for staying on the fish.
PLUS — after the fishing wraps up, I head to a remote campsite with my Appalachian Trail backpacking gear to cook dinner and set up camp solo. If you're into fishing, camping, and outdoor adventures, this is your kind of video. Stick around to the end for the camp setup and relaxing outdoor vibes!
