Story:
One day Yui Komori finally had enough of being treated like prey by the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers. So she decided to take Subarus's silver knife with her and escape on the night of the full moon. However Yui encounters a strange vampire child who suddenly attacks her. Later on she realises it was probably because of the small wound on her knee. Luckily Yui is saved by Zero, Yuki and Kaname. They take her to Cross Academy after she fainted. At first they tried to erase her memories, but were surprised to find out they couldn't. Kaname suspects it may have something to do with her blood. Once Yui tells them everything that happened to her, the headmaster tells her it would be safer for her if Yui stayed here. She did and became a student of the Day Class. Yui also became a member of the Disciplinary Committee since she knew about the existence of vampires. Surprisingly Zero and Yui got along great and grew closer. The once defenseless girl was soon able to handle the silver knife properly, after Zero helped her understand how it worked first. Even though Yui was surrounded by vampires she didn't fear them as much as the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers. That was because she had people she could trust and depend on. Life was going great for her. Of course, some things did happen once in a while, but Zero and Yuki had her back. For the first time since she knew of the existence of vampires Yui wanted to know what made her blood so special. She would've never guessed what was up with her heart nor about Zero actually being a vampire. He drinks her blood, just like the Mukami and Sakamaki brothers did, and immediately regrets it. He, of course, knew what had happened and how she was treated and yet he did the same thing they did. Yui decided to face him after what had happened. She didn't want to avoid him any longer! She wanted him to know that he could count on her! Even if that meant giving him her blood. What she originally thought was done out of friendship was something entirely else. While slowly developing feelings for Zero she also grows as a person. Leaving her past behind she focuses on the present. I mean, how else are you supposed to protect Cross Academy from various threats?
