Marshall VS8100 vs Audiority Solidus VS8100 plugin

Just a quick comparison of my real Marshall VS8100 head to the Audiority Solidus VS8100 amp sim. No boosts, and no eq applied to either example, completely raw tracks here. Just one guitar track per side.
I turned off the Audiority cabinet section and ran both examples through the same instance of a Marshall cab in MIKKO, just to make the comparison as close as possible.
Imo, Audiority has done an excellent job with this plugin! My real amp sounds just a bit different, it has a little more gain, and sounds a little thicker in the midrange, but I do have a Tung Sol 12AX7 in my amp, so that might affect things a bit. Also, no two amps will ever sound exactly the same, especially when you're dealing with a piece of gear that is over 20 years old! This sim works amazingly well, and is a worthy substitute to the real thing, in my opinion. Definitely recommended!
