My name is Dan Lier... after close to 24 months of searching for answers, I was recently diagnosed with Cardiac Amyloidosis. Are you someone who is having challenges finding a diagnosis?
My doctors told me I had GERD, englarged heart, athletes heart, congestive heart disease, enlarged liver and even a potential virus. My body was eroding, I was weak with any exertion. My body was sore, joints were "cracking"... and I had lost most of my subcutaneous fat (Lipo-athrophy). After being fit my entire live, I had difficulty walking up stairs and I had to rest after walking for 5 mins, if I could do it at all.
On April 12th, 2017, I was diagnosed with Cardiac Amyloidosis at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
I have just completed my 4th treatment (considered 1 round).
