The 64th running of the Rolex 24, Daytona International Speedway's twice-around-the-clock endurance race, doesn't see the green flag until a little after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. But there's more than enough action on tap to keep occupied for the next eight days.
Welcome to the "Roar Before the Rolex 24."
Starting Friday, Jan. 16, and continuing through Sunday, Jan. 18, the sports cars will hit the track for a whole bunch of practice and testing. The weekend also will feature two VP Racing SportsCar Challenge races — one at 2 p.m. Saturday and the second at 1:20 p.m. Sunday. They will air on Peacock. Last year, Valentino Catalano won both.
