🎨 Are You Really Blocked… or Just Gestating a Masterpiece?

Hey friends, it’s been a while—two months to be exact—since I last recorded a video, and I’m deep in the studio right now working on two upcoming group shows and two solo exhibitions. It’s been intense, beautiful, and very full. But today, I wanted to pause and talk about something I’ve seen all over YouTube lately: artistic block.

I have a very different take on what many call a “creative block.” In this video, I share my perspective as both a mother and an artist—how I see the creative process as a form of gestation, like bringing new life into the world. From the first spark of an idea to the fully realized artwork, I believe every stage matters. And using the word “block” can sometimes stop that process before it’s ready to bloom.
