Archibald “Arch” Manning born on April 27, 2004 is a third-generation American football quarterback continuing the storied Manning family tradition. He is the son of Cooper Manning (a former Ole Miss wide receiver) and the grandson of NFL great Archie Manning. At Texas he wears No. 16 and has emerged as the Longhorns’ quarterback. Coming out of New Orleans, he was a consensus five-star recruit — ranked the No. 1 player nationally by outlets like 247Sports, On3 and Rivals — and he shattered high school records (surpassing uncles Peyton’s and Eli’s passing and touchdown marks at Newman High) before signing with Texas. Today (2025) he has already started a dozen games for the Longhorns (with a 9-3 record as starter) and thrown for over 2,300 yards and 19 touchdowns, making him one of college football’s most notable young quarterbacks.
