There are seven Any Card At Any Number versions in Vol 2 of All-In. Each version has a different M.O. This version was inspired by Ross Johnson and Peter Tappan's Princess A-Hoy, from the book The Impostress Princess, and an unpublished effect that I saw Millard Lichter do in Chicago over fifty years ago. Millard's effect was a legend in Chicago, and the locals named it "The Trick that Millard Never Would Do." They gave it that name as it fooled everyone, and from that point on, if you asked to see it again, he would refuse. You only got to see the effect one time.
