We all love hummingbirds! And when we see a moth that acts and flies like a humming bird, it evokes some serious wonder and emotion! The white lined sphinx moth is a moth species that actually will fly during the day and visit flowers and is sometimes confused with a hummingbird. It is a beautiful moth with pink hind wings and a really cool wing pattern with white lines on the forewings. It's common throughout most of North America but is rare in the Florida Keys. In this video, we will share with you our brief experience with this beauty in Monroe County.
