Fixing A Mini Truck Where The Gas Pump Keeps Shutting Off | Hijet S110P Charcoal Vapor Canister

Do you have charcoal vapor canister issues with your Daihatsu Hijet Mini Truck?
Does the fuel tank hiss and expel fuel vapors when you remove the fuel cap?
Does the fuel pump nozzle click off after only filling a one or two gallons of fuel?
Is the fuel tank in your Daihatsu Hijet over pressurized?

If so, something may be preventing the fuel relief/return line from the fuel pump from working correctly. This eventually will likely cause the fuel pressure to go up. Thus, overpowering the needle in the carb and flooding it. Similar effects can cause hard or no starts with an electronically fuel injected Hijet as well. When mine did that it ended up being a clogged vapor canister.
