Once & Again: Grace/Dimitri video

The song Adoration, to me, fit the aura that Grace and Mr. Dimitri's relationship seemed to exemplify. As close as they are on a personal level and in terms of shared interests, they can't really exercise their romantic feelings or even any platonic feelings without violating a strict code of conduct enforced by the board of education. Dimitri's very words are: "If circumstances were different, I would like nothing more than to be your friend. I would want you to drop by my house and I'd loan you my book of poems I wrote when I was in my twenties that I'm now embarrassed by, and I'd want you to call me August and not Mr. Dimitri and we would sit around and talk for hours. But we can't do that. We can't be friends."

And no matter how close they want to eventually become, they essentially remain "far away" from one another because of all the negative energy that's preventing them from fulfilling any romantic relationship; especially with the disapproval of society's standards.
