I have raised children with multiple and different Mental Health Disorders. I learned to pay attention to it from living with my Mother who has Schizophrenia. As I processed the different events that happened in her lifetime showing signs of her mental illness, I realized how a number of our communities did not understand Schizophrenia and had no way to treat it other than to prejudice and exert their phobia. Yassin Hall is a Non-Fiction Author. She was born in St. Thomas, VI. Yassin is also well known as, Non-fiction author who became best known for the award-winning memoir Journey Untold – My Mother’s Struggle with Mental Illness.
