"Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (2017) is a Korean fantasy action film. The story revolves around Kim Ja-hong, a brave firefighter who dies in an accident while saving a child. After his death, his soul embarks on a journey to the afterlife, guided by three afterlife guardians — Gang-rim, Haewonmak, and Deok-choon.

Before being granted reincarnation, his soul must face seven trials, where the good and bad deeds of his life, his sacrifices, love, and sins are judged. At each stage, his human flaws and virtues are revealed, and based on these, the final decision is made whether he is worthy of reincarnation or not.

The film beautifully conveys a deep human message of bonds, sacrifice, justice, and forgiveness. Its imaginative world between life and death, combined with an emotional and heartfelt story, makes this movie truly special.
