[Forest Green Street Music] “Let Her Go” was Passenger's song released in July 2012. As a busker for 5 years, the huge international success of the song was a big shock to him. The singer-songwriter had spent five years busking, made no money, playing at tiny places in Europe and Australia. This melancholic song has touched a lot of people's hearts, and changed Passenger's life. It describes how people only appreciate things when they are about to be lost.

The song was famously featured in a 2014 Budweiser commercial that aired during Super Bowl XLVIII, which depicted a puppy with a preference for the iconic Bud Clydesdales to his human owners. It was used also in the Season 7 finale of CBC’s Heartland.
