4/17/15 at Dirty Martini (Melanie Martinez RARE performance & interview)

On April 17, 2015, Melanie Martinez performed at a free dinner for 979 WRMF at the Palm Beach Gardens Dirty Martini. This performance, rediscovered in February 2024, was (for a while) extremely elusive. It was believed for many months after its discovery that all remaining from the show was a handful of pictures and occasional clips from a presumably lost pre-show interview. But, it was in mid-may when a clip was discovered from the show. Embedded in a clip compilation/edit was a 7~ second snippet of Melanie singing “Mad Hatter” at the interesting yet forgotten show. Despite its discovery over a month ago, both I & the friend that discovered it held out with posting it. I was not only busy with other posts, but it was a minuscule snippet, typically not worth priority. But, just as the memory of that find left my mind, My friend came through. It was just a few days ago i received a message from his saying he found not only the ENTIRETY of that lost interview on youtube, but the whole performance of Mad Hatter. So, I rushed to the links and found those impressive videos. With permission, I am now able to share this gem of a find (compiled together to give an idea of that rediscovered night) in full!
