Major Payne" is a 1995 comedy film starring Damon Wayans as Major Benson Winifred Payne, a hardened and fanatical Marine who is honorably discharged from the military. Unable to cope with civilian life and yearning for a combat environment, he is given a new assignment: commanding officer of a Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) unit at a private school.
