Head to head battle of the two great 35 1.4's for Leica M mount including sample photos taken on a Sony a7rii, Leica M10 and film M2.

Few points not mentioned in the video:
The Summilux is ever-so-slightly brighter wide open (+.1 of a stop) and it is wider than the Distagon.
The Distagon has no apparent focus shift whereas the FLE front-focused a bit stopped down and had to be refocused as a result.
