I made this book once before, circa 2021, as a commissioned piece. It was a slow but fun process the first time and I knew it was something I wanted to revisit. It's a gorgeous book and, while not perfect, it's a piece that I'm super proud of. Join me in this magical adventure of bookbinding, learning, and movie prop recreation.

Material costs:
Leather - $35 for the roll, which included two.
Paper - everything has been in my stash for a while, so these are estimations.
Watercolor paper - $12 (Canson Watercolor)
Sketch paper - $13
End pages - $5 - $6 (single sheet)
All other materials were already on-hand - chipboard for covers, thread for binding, PVA glue
Total monetary cost: Roughly $65
Estimated "hands-on" time: 12 hours
Total project time: 5.5 days
