IN DEPTH: Four people survive helicopter crash in Wasatch County wilderness

HEBER, Utah (KUTV)- A video captures a helicopter losing control and crashing in the Wasatch County wilderness, approximately 100 yards from State Road 35 near Wolf Creek Campground.

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media that the crash happened at 3:10 p.m. Sunday. Emergency responders located the helicopter and found four people on board at the time of the crash.

Officials said one person suffered a critical head injury and was transported to a hospital by AirMed. The others were evaluated at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
