From a live BBC radio broadcast from Winchester Cathedral on 15 July 1992, with the choir of Winchester Cathedral, directed by David Hill, and David Dunnett (Assistant Organist). Written for the Golden Jubilee of the formation of the Church Music Society and first performed at Evensong in Westminster Abbey on 17 May 1956, the piece was re-issued in 1992, in honour of the centenary of the composer’s birth.
