Force applied at an angle with friction is a common physics problem. This video shows how to solve problems with a coefficient of friction and an external force applied at angles. To find things like acceleration and normal force we draw free body diagrams, figure out the new normal force, use that to solve for friction, calculate the net force and finally use that to calculate the acceleration.
There are a lot of steps but this type of problem is common on the AP Physics C: Mechanics and AP Physics 1 test so it's good to have easy examples and solutions to follow. Enjoy!
